Background
Rahat is a Ph.D. student at School of Computing, University of Utah. He is a member of Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute and currently working with his advisor, Dr. Paul Rosen.
His research interests include Data Visualization, Deep Learning, Pattern Analysis and Recognition, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Reinforcement Learning, and Internet of Things.
Rahat started his Ph.D. program at the University of Arizona with Dr. Stephen Kobourov (2021) and then transferred to University of Utah on his 2nd Year.
Rahat was born and raised in Bangladesh. He did his Bachelor of Science program with a thesis on βDeep Learning and Computer Visionβ from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) (2016-2020). After his BSc, he was an R&D intern at Ultra X Asia Pacific (2020), and later joined as a programmer at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) (2021).
